W hen you think of Alison Hammond, two things probably come to mind: outrageous fun and a lot of confidence. The hugely popular TV presenter has graduated from entertainment reporter on This Morning to fully fledged co-host of the Friday shows – and she’s made it clear that, despite some raised eyebrows at her appointment, she believes in herself.
Alison, 45, currently hosts the Friday show with X Factor presenter Dermot O’Leary, having replaced Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes in the slot in January. Despite Ruth and Eamonn’s apparent axing sparking outrage among loyal viewers of This Morning, it seems Alison is standing firm on her position at the show.
WEIGHT WORRIES
Former Big Brother contestant Alison has always been honest about her battle with her weight, and recently made the revelation that she has been diagnosed as prediabetic, meaning she’s at risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Alison is so determined to make changes to her lifestyle that she urged the public – and This Morning co-hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield – to support her in her journey to become healthier.
