Seven years after his disappearance, police finally made a breakthrough

Last week as shocking new developments were made almost hourly in the William Tyrrell case, forensics and police officers swarmed the grounds of the Kendall property where the missing three-year-old was last seen.

Just before 8.30am on November 18, carloads of investigators arrived at a new search site, focusing their efforts on an area of bushland close by the house.

SEARCHING FOR CLUES

Wheelbarrows were unloaded as officers began removing branches and debris from the site. It’s believed two pieces of material were recovered near there during last week’s search with officers seen comparing them to samples of a red and blue Spider-Man suit – the outfit William was wearing when he was last seen on September 12, 2014.
