The top-secret lovebirds have finally picked a date - and they can’t wait!

The hush-hush duo have been romancing behind closed doors for four years since Katie’s 2012 divorce from Tom Cruise. Now they’re set to come out of the shadows with a star-studded wedding in New York City in December.

“It’s all been decided,” an insider close to the couple tells Woman’s Day exclusively. “Their plan is to tie the knot on December 22 – the Friday before Christmas – at a friend’s home close to Central Park.

“Jamie has been very old school about it and went to Ohio to ask Katie’s dad Martin for permission. He said yes of course. Katie’s family think the world of Jamie. They can see how he’s been a rock in her life. They have no doubt that he’ll be a devoted husband and father.”

As reported in Woman’s Day recently, the news of the wedding comes hot on the heels of whispers that Katie is already expecting the couple’s first baby. Sources revealed then that no-one would be surprised if she and Jamie made their relationship official before the baby was born.

Word is, the couple were required to keep their love affair private due to a clause in Katie and Tom’s divorce contract that said she couldn’t have a public relationship for five years.
