A chilling phone call and a nasty courtroom drama are taking their toll on the couple

He hit the big time winning Australian Idol in 2013. But throughout all the accolades and stardom that have followed, Guy Sebastian has long credited his teenage sweetheart-turned-wife Jules, 40, for always standing by him.

But after the toughest of 12 months, sources tell Woman’s Day the strain is starting to show on their marriage.

“It’s no secret that life has been very stressful over the past few months, and Guy’s reaction to stress can be to blow up. Sadly, Jules often just has to put up with it, but as patient as she is even she is struggling,” says an insider.

It’s little wonder 38-year-old Guy is stressed. Just last week, pictures surfaced of a bodyguard stationed outside the couple’s house after a neighbour went on KIIS FM to complain about their $3.1 million “fortress”-like home in Sydney’s Maroubra.
