But that fear goes away when she steps out on stage. The pop princess reveals, “It’s an escape and a boost to my confidence. It’s like an alter-ego thing. Something clicks and I turn into this different person. It’s a gift.”

Lately, however, something in Britney has changed, with those close to the singer saying she’s found that same self-assurance in her personal life with the help of her boyfriend of nearly two years, Sam Asghari.

Since the music icon, 36, and the 24-year-old Iranian model and personal trainer met in 2016, “he’s become a stabilising force in Britney’s life, without stifling her or trying to make her into someone she’s not”, reports a close source. “He accepts her for who she is, which has been a struggle for Britney in the past.”

More importantly, the fitness guru makes the mother of Sean, 12, and Jayden, 11, want to be a better person. Adds the source, “Britney’s relationship with Sam has truly given her a purpose and a joy she never had with any other man in her life. She’s living her best life yet.”
