Katie Price has long been an advocate for standing up to trolls. And last week the star was forced to speak up for her disabled son Harvey, 20, when he was allegedly targeted in a police WhatsApp group.
A heartbroken Katie, 44, has revealed she feels “shocked and upset” over the derogatory remarks, and slammed the officers involved as “disgusting” human beings.
“They need to be punished. They were big enough to make all these comments and now they have to deal with the consequences,” she said.
“This is a WhatsApp group made by eight police officers we are talking about, a lot of messages going on for two years and something has to be done.”
It’s claimed that eight Metropolitan Police officers made offensive comments in the group, entitled “Secret Squirrel S**t”, that were sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic and “applauded sexual violence against women”, in the form of messages, memes and videos.
Harvey – who has a number of complex conditions including septo-optic dysplasia, autism and Prader-Willi syndrome – was just 14 at the time of the messages, which were allegedly sent between May 2016 and June 2018.
Katie, who is also mum to Junior, 17, Princess, 15, Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight, told ITV News, “I’ve got some comments here and some are just too shocking to say.
