Christine wants to have fun after divorce

The breakdown of a marriage is never easy, especially where there are children involved and the couple in question are high- profile celebrities too. But glamorous model and TV personality Christine McGuinness, 36, seems to be moving on and living her best life since her shock split in 2022 from comedian and Top Gear host husband Paddy McGuinness, 50.

When it came to their divorce – reportedly settled last week – there was reportedly one non-negotiable deal breaker both parents were adamant about, a source has claimed. And that was making sure the transition for their children, 10-year-old twins Leo and Penelope, and Felicity, seven, was as smooth as possible.

“Ever since they split, the main concern for both Paddy and Christine was making it as amicable as possible for the sake of the children,” they told us. “They haven’t rushed anything, and the kids will always be their main priority.”

Indeed, Christine and Paddy – who recently said he would talk about his divorce in his new stand-up tour – are still, two years on from their split, living in the same family home in Cheshire. For Christine and her children, who all have autism, the rather unconventional agreement is what works best for them all.

She explained recently that, although she doesn’t know how long the arrangement will last, she doesn’t want to move her children into separate homes and “mess up their routine”.
