Even by her own turbulent standards, Katie Price has had a rough time of it recently. Just days after her home was targeted by cruel vandals, things went from bad to worse as the star was seen starting her community service stint – a punishment dished out after she admitted to breaching a restraining order.
Wearing a printed hoodie and plain black tracksuit bottoms, Katie, 44, headed to work at St Catherine’s Hospice Furniture Store in West Sussex, clutching her lunch in a Co-op carrier bag. She was later spotted being picked up by on/off fiancé Carl Woods as she finished her shift.
In the same week, she discovered her Horsham home – dubbed the Mucky Mansion – had been scrawled with vile graffiti. Messages which read “junkie s**g” and “old hoar” were daubed in huge white letters across her fence outside the property, reportedly leaving Katie “terrified”.
And now a source close to the star, who has had a turbulent relationship with car-dealer Carl, 34, said the mum-of-five feels like she can’t catch a break.
“Katie isn’t having the best time at the minute,” the source revealed. “Her relationship with Carl is very up in the air – they’re constantly on and off. Friends are struggling to keep track of what’s going on. They can’t seem to stay away from each other. It’s all very toxic.
“And on top of her relationship woes, Katie has had to deal with vandals at her home with graffiti. It’s the last thing she needed. She’s worked hard to make the place her home again. It’s made her feel uneasy.”
