Kelsey Parker on finding the courage to embrace love after loss, tackling trolls and facing tough milestones

Kelsey Parker recently revealed that she has found love once again, two years after the tragic passing of her husband, The Wanted star Tom Parker. The mum-of-two, who was with the late singer for 13 years, is now in a relationship with tree surgeon Will Lindsay.

And catching up with new for an exclusive chat on the Pride Of Britain Awards red carpet, Kelsey admits that she is smitten with her new beau. “I’m very happy,” beams the 34-year-old, as she opens up on the new romance. “Everyone has been so supportive, which has been lovely and wonderful – I was so scared to share it because, you know, trolling is such a big thing. I was thinking, ‘Am I going to get trolled?’ But the support and love has been absolutely incredible.”

Reflecting that there is “never a right time” to date again after grief, Kelsey adds, “It’s this whole time thing, like, when’s the right time? When’s this? When’s that? There is no right time to do anything – you have to just go with your heart and that’s it.”
