Stacey Solomon is delighted to have welcomed her fifth child via a home birth at Pickle Cottage.
Sharing a photo of the newborn and revealing her name is Belle, the star wrote on Instagram, “We can’t believe you’re here. Welcome to the world beautiful girl, thank you for the last few months in my tummy, we can’t wait to love you forever and ever. We are so grateful we get to be your family.”
The 33-year-old continued, “You literally flew into our world... And none of us can quite believe your thick dark head of hair that we just can’t get over.”
The star is already mum to Zachary, 14, and Leighton, 10, from previous relationships, and has son Rex, three, and 16-month-old Rose with her husband Joe Swash. Joe, 41, also has a 15-year-old son Harry from his previous relationship with Emma Sophocleus.
Stacey revealed that the children all adore the new arrival. “It’s making me so emotional,” she said. “I’m a mess at the moment, happy but a mess – everything makes me cry. Rose is obsessed with her.”
Stacey also explained that Belle’s name was a nod to her sister Rose. “Our beautiful, delicate baby girl. Who will forever remind us of the bluebells that are about to bloom as you bring the spring with you into the world… And a little special connection to your Rose,” she wrote online.
It’s been quite the journey for the Essex girl, who has gone from a struggling single mum to one of the most influential celebrities in the country. It’s her honesty and openness about the highs and lows of motherhood that has really resonated with her army of followers.
