NEW DRAMA
The Doll Factory
From Mon 27 Nov, Paramount+ (first two eps from 27 Nov, then one new ep daily until Fri 1 Dec)
A young woman in Victorian London discovers the dangers of beauty in Paramount+’s new six-part drama The Doll Factory.
Based on the novel by Elizabeth Macneal, the series follows Iris (Hanna star Esmé Creed-Miles), who lives and works with her twin sister Rose (Mirren Mack) in a doll emporium – run by the austere Mrs Salter (Pippa Haywood) – where they create ‘mourning dolls’, bought by grieving parents in memory of a lost child.
