NEW ACTION COMEDY FUBAR From Thursday 25 May, Netflix

Arnold Schwarzenegger promised he'd be back and here he is, making his TV debut in an eight-part spy adventure that sees the Austrian born actor, former professional bodybuilder and politician returning to his action-hero roots.

Following a break after 2019 movie Terminator: Dark Fate, the Hollywood heavyweight stars in new Netflix series FUBAR as Luke Brunner, a veteran CIA operative who is gearing up for retirement plans that include winning back his ex-wife and sailing around the world.

The CIA has other ideas, however, pulling him back into the field to save another operative code-named 'Panda' in Guyana, South America. But when he comes face to face with Panda (Top Gun: Maverick star Monica Barbaro) deep in the jungle, he's shocked to discover that the rogue spy is, in fact, his very own daughter, Emma.

Unbeknown to each other, both father and daughter have been leading double lives for years. Emma is now undercover as an American soldier-turned-bare-knuckle fighter going by the name of 'Dani, whose backchat, chain-smoking and swearing shatters Luke's memories of his darling daughter back home.
