Tennis fans will flock to Roland-Garros this week for the second Grand Slam tournament of the year.
Spanish hotshot Carlos Alcaraz has been in sublime form in 2023, triumphing on clay in Madrid and Barcelona, and arrives in Paris as favourite to win the men's singles.
The 20-year-old is making his third appearance in the event, going out in the quarter-finals last year, and has set his sights on one day emulating his compatriot, 14-time champion Rafael Nadal.
'Hopefully, I can win half as many titles that Rafael has won,' says Alcaraz, who is the reigning US Open champion. 'He is the best player in history on clay?
