Taking in everything from Buddhist retreats to stone circles, adventurer Ben Fogle visits more sacred spaces on Scotland’s islands to see how faith is woven into the unique local communities in a second run of his BBC1 travelogue.
The first run of Scotland’s Sacred Islands, which aired in 2021, saw him explore Shetland and the Hebrides. This time, his initial destination, in the first of four episodes (airing from Tue 17 October, 8pm, BBC Scotland), is the island of Arran.
