Some extraordinary births of puppies, kittens, chicks and even guinea-pig pups are shown in C4’s new series Fur Babies.
Across four episodes, cameras follow vets Dr James Greenwood and Dr Bolu Eso at their practices, where they support owners and their pets through the drama of pregnancy, labour and birth.
‘It’s a heart-warming series, but with some unexpected turns,’ says Greenwood. ‘People often only phone us up when there’s a problem with their pet, so to be able to follow these journeys from start to finish was a real privilege. What I love about this show is that we see all the ups and downs.’
