Chelsea BLUES

THE CHELSEA DETECTIVE
NEW FROM MONDAY 28 AUGUST, ACORN TV DRAMA (RELEASED WEEKLY)
Adrian Scarborough is in a particularly buoyant mood as he bustles onto a battered houseboat at the end of London's affluent Cheyne Walk on a May day. The vessel is the abode of his wise and wily cop, DI Max Arnold, in Acorn TV's popular crime drama The Chelsea Detective.
'It's my birthday today - and it's been rather brilliant so far!" beams the actor, who is turning 55, as he settles back into a snug-looking sofa opposite TV Times. 'We started the day filming in Sloane Square, now we're here on the houseboat, and later we're doing an evening shoot where Albert Bridge will be lit up and everything will look amazing!' Here, Adrian, who's always a warm and engaging interviewee, shares his case notes on the much-anticipated second season...
Congratulations on the new series, Adrian! What sort of feedback did you receive after the first run launched in February 2022?
Well, this very day, an American man came up to me in Sloane Square and said, 'Love the show! which was fantastic! I'm not on any social media, so all feedback usually comes through third parties. Maybe I'm just getting forwarded all the good bits, but everything I've heard has been incredibly positive.
