I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE SATURDAY, 9.05PM, BBC1 ENTERTAINMENT
Get ready to spot the singers from the ringers as BBC1’s mystery music game show I Can See Your Voice bursts back on to our screens this week – and it’s even bigger and better than before! Paddy McGuinness returns as host and each episode will again follow a team of two players – aided by celebrity investigators Jimmy Carr, Alison Hammond and Amanda Holden – as they try to win £10,000 by deciphering which of the six performers in front of them can really sing like an angel.
As well as navigating through familiar rounds Lip-Sync, Unlock My Life, Interrogation and The Duet, this series sees the introduction of Home Truths.
‘In the new round, players can get more clues about the singers by seeing inside their real homes, and the panel and contestants often notice different things,’ says Paddy, 49, who, here, tells us more…
What was the feedback like from the first series?
It was really good. It’s a fun Saturday-night show with lots of play-along-ability. This series we’re getting into the action quicker and going straight into the lip-sync and music.
I’ll also now be doing a lipsynching performance myself at the start of every show – I’ve done everything from Sia to Dolly Parton!
How are the celebrity investigators getting along this time?
What I’ve noticed this series is that Jimmy, Amanda and Alison are very competitive with each other, but it’s all done with love!
