SANDITON
FRIDAY, 9PM, ITV DRAMA
Anne Reid is no stranger to playing formidable characters. After starring in five seasons of BBC1's hit comedy-drama Last Tango in Halifax as outspoken Celia Buttershaw, the actor is now relishing her role as wealthy widow Lady Denham in Regency-era romp Sanditon.
As the second series continues on ITV, episode three finds Lady Denham trying to contain a potential scandal involving her nephew Edward (Jack Fox) and niece Clara (Lily Sacofsky).
TV Times caught up with Anne, 87, on set in Bristol, where she shared why this is the job of a lifetime for her...
How does Lady Denham handle her difficult family?
In season one, Edward and Clara were a nightmare - and that continues in season two!
