The upstairs of The Vic is much like Eileen Grimshaw’s house in Corrie – it miraculously manages to accommodate no end of people, despite its modest size.
In addition to George, Elaine, Linda, Anna, Gina, Ollie and Annie, the gaff is now home to Kojo, one of George’s long-lost brothers, although it looks like eight could become seven again when the latter goes AWOL.
All’s fine as the week kicks off – the siblings have a fun day out, leaving George satisfied that he’s done the right thing in persuading their other brother Kobina to let Kojo stay with him in Walford.
But when the pair get back to The Vic, stressed Johnny unwittingly triggers Kojo, who is autistic, causing Kojo to hit him. As tensions mount, Elaine lays into George, insisting Kojo must go as they’re not equipped to manage his needs. Neither realise that Kojo is close by and has overheard every word…
