WITH his tattoos, tousled hair and intense blue eyes, he won legions of adoring fans around the globe as brooding badboy chef Carmy Berzatto in The Bear.
And with Hollywood’s awards season in full swing, actor Jeremy Allen White’s growing collection of awards and accolades makes it clear he has impressed critics too. No one is more surprised by his rapid ascent to super-stardom than Jeremy, who won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for his role in the comedy-drama series The Bear.
“I try to lead a humble life,” he tells Vanity Fair, modestly.
There’s nothing modest about his recent modelling job for Calvin Klein’s Spring 2024 campaign, however. Massive billboards featuring Jeremy posing seductively in white Calvin Klein undies have set tongues wagging and pulses racing.
In the TV ad for the campaign he cuts an impressively chiselled figure as he walks around New York City, climbs to the top of a building and flops down on a couch on a rooftop with the city skyline in the background.
“This is what every woman needed to start 2024 off right,” said one fan in the comment section on Calvin Klein’s Instagram page.
His astounding physique is thanks to months of intense training for his role in the movie The Iron Claw, which saw him pack on 18kg of muscle.
For the true-life story, in which Jeremy (32) stars alongside Zac Efron and Harris Dickinson as the Von Erich brothers, a family of wrestlers, the actors got ripped to play professional athletes.
By the time the Calvin Klein ad was shot, Jeremy had slimmed down a bit. Still, the training and the experience of working on the movie paid off in more ways than one.
