THE NEW SKINCARE AGENDA

There’s a popular saying that goes, “If it’s good enough to eat, it’s good enough for your skin”. But does that hold true for the concoctions and cocktails of skincare ingredients we use regularly? While that’s up for debate, a farm-to-face skincare concept is changing the way we view skincare and its steps. Much like the farm-to-table idea in the culinary industry, farm-to-face beauty translates to harvesting ingredients and using them on the skin without the interference of excessive processing and additives. Based out of Chattisgarh and headed by three women, RAS is ensuring that it remains more than just another skincare fad. With their farmland and factory, where they cultivate their crops and produce their products, the brand has quickly found itself loyal consumers who swear by the products’ simplicity, which ranges from facial care to body care.

Founder and CEO Shubhika Jain talks to us about the brand’s inception and what differentiates them from the surplus of beauty labels in the market.
