Grey Delight
After releasing the Dior Chiffre Rouge in a provocative all black tonality, Dior Timepieces follows up with an alternate colourway that drastically alters the watch's complexion this autumn. On the face of it, the dominant grey colourway opens up the watch, revealing intricacies its stealthy allblack counterpart concealed. Dior's inimitable and iconic cannage, and another of the house's emblematic codes, grey, comes to life on the dial as a multitude of intricate lines conjure up the motif. Touches of rose gold - a classic and complementary combination choice - plays in nicely with the unconventional rose gold case bumper. Instead of the traditional two o'clock start/stop chronograph position, Dior Timepieces swapped it to four o'clock allowing for a sturdier overgrip operation with subtle teething on the pusher's direct opposite ensuring better grip. Red - a colour close to Christian Dior himself - makes a lasting impression to the Dior Chiffre Rouge. On the technical front, Dior Timepieces' automatic chronograph calibre CD.001 gives the watch an edge over others with a higher 5Hz frequency that provides greater accuracy and precision for its timekeeping and chronograph duties.
