Are our institutions mad or bad? Ten reminders that they are probably both
- Sunlight is a natural disinfectant, immune-booster, and moodenhancer. And yet in March 2020, inflicting maximum damage on the population, the government ordered everyone to stay indoors right the way through a luminous spring and early summer.
- Outdoor sports help maintain good circulation, mobility, muscle strength, metabolic health, and psychological wellbeing through social interaction. But in December 2020, the order came to lock down again. This time, the government also closed football, golf and tennis clubs, and any other beneficial outdoor activities, until April 2021, to ensnare as many people as possible into taking poisonous potions under false pretences.
