The unbeaten ace was replaced by mare Lossiemouth in some bookmaker lists after failing to shine in a public workout at Newbury.

By the end of an exercise meant to sharpen him up for the Fighting Fifth at Newcastle a week on Saturday, Constitution Hill had to be pushed along to stay in touch with the cruising Sir Gino.

"He had a good blow there which is the whole reason we came here," said the trainer, right.
