The film is set to hit cinema screens after the LP they made 50 years ago - hailed as one of the "most bootlegged live albums" - received a proper release earlier this year.
Directed by David Litchfield, the documentary includes rare footage and polaroids as well interviews with as the band that Macca co-founded with his late wife, Linda, after The Beatles broke up in 1970.
Sir Paul said: "It's so great to look back on that period... We made a pretty good noise actually.
"It was a great time for the band, we started to have success with Wings, which had been a long time coming"
