Novak hits out after Draper's controversial win

NOVAK DJOKOVIC has called the lack of VAR on the ATP Tour "embarrassing" following Jack Draper's controversial last 16 win at the Cincinnati Open.

The British No.1 failed in his bid to reach a Masters semi-final for the first time when he lost to Holger Rune 6-4 6-2.

But Draper's victory over Felix Auger-Aliassime in the previous round caused a storm when replays showed his volley hit the court on his side of the net on match point.

Umpire Greg Allensworth awarded the point and the match to Draper despite the protests of the Canadian and no review was allowed.
