ERL READY TO TON UP THE HEAT

PEP GUARDIOLA says that Erling Haaland is in no mood to ease down as he closes in on a ton for Manchester City.

A goal for the Norwegian against Inter Milan tonight will make him the fastest player to reach 100 for a single club in Europe beating the record held by a certain Cristiano Ronaldo.

Haaland has taken 103 games to reach 99 goals for City in all competitions. Ronaldo reached a century of goals for Real Madrid in 105 games back in 2012.

City boss Guardiola (above) admitted even he has been surprised by the remarkable totals posted by Haaland and pointed to his own scoring return as a player to underline the Norwegian's greatness.
