HOLLY Newton stands at a bus stop looking at her phone as she is confronted by the 16-year-old boy who would stab her to death minutes later in a frenzied attack.
The chilling CCTV image is the last photo of 15-year-old Holly, who was slashed and stabbed 36 times in little more than a minute.
A 16-year-old boy who tried to save her was also injured in the attack.
The killer, who is now 17 and cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted manslaughter but denied murder.
He was yesterday convicted of murdering Holly and of wounding with intent the boy who came to her aid.
During a five-week trial, the jury had heard how just hours before the attack Holly had told a friend that the boy was "basically stalking her".
