NICK BALL has demanded a rematch with Rey Vargas to get the chance to add the WBC title to his WBA featherweight crown.
NOW BALL WANTS IT TO GO TO VAR

The Liverpool puncher defended his WBA title with a 10th-round stoppage of American Ronny Rios (above) in his home city on Saturday night.

Ball, 27, floored Rios three times on the way to a comfortable victory at the M&S Bank Arena.

The Scouse scrapper won the WBA belt with a points win over Ray Ford in Saudi Arabia last June. It followed a controversial draw with WBC title-holder Vargas in the same country just months earlier.

Many felt Ball was the worthy winner of that bout and now he wants to right the wrong in a unification fight with the Mexican.

He said: "That's the fight I want, that's the one people are talking about.

"When they speak about my fights, they always say I was robbed in that one.
