ENGLAND'S heroes landed back home in a downpour yesterday after Spain rained on their Euro 2024 parade.

Gareth Southgate and his crestfallen players touched down at Stansted hours after being defeated 2-1 in Berlin.

Southgate, 53, and stars including Jude Bellingham, 21, Cole Palmer, 22, Bukayo Saka, also 22, and Phil Foden, 24, left the Ritz Carlton hotel in Berlin to applause at 10am.

They then boarded a chartered flight and disembarked at the Essex airport at 2.11pm.
