Garza's team won 3-1 and the 19-year-old still has some treasured mementos of the game and his one-to-one with Messi.
However, having now joined Monterrey's strategic partner Dundee on a year-long loan, the midfielder is desperate to impress in dark blue and has set his sights on making his debut in the January 2 derby.
