PERFECT STORMER

DEREK MCINNES reckons that Kilmarnock are touching perfection as they dished out a battering to dismal Aberdeen.

Kyle Vassell's second league goal of the campaign followed by David Watson, Innes Cameron and Bruce Anderson strikes sealed the points to make it seven games without a win for the Dons.

It was an emphatic display from start to finish for the hosts and McInnes insists it could hardly have gone more according to plan.

The Rugby Park boss said: "It was almost the perfect day and we have had to work hard to get to this point.

"I would have taken a 1-0 before the game but to score four goals against Aberdeen side an who have been good this season.

"We have been looking for this really strong home performance and we got it in Boxing Day.

"Even though we put plenty of balls into the box we still needed someone to score the goals and for that pressure to count.
