Satellite text sparks rescue in off-grid zone
A WALKER who suffered a stroke was rescued from a remote cave system thanks to an iPhone.
Sixteen members of Assynt Mountain Rescue Team were called to the Bone Caves network in Sutherland after a passer-by used the satellite SOS function on their iPhone to alert emergency services.
