<p>The outlawing of the beasts is just weeks away, with the Government saying that from December 31 it will be illegal to &ldquo;breed, sell, advertise, exchange, gift, rehome, abandon or allow XL bully dogs to stray in England and Wales&rdquo;.</p>
<p>Just months ago, many of the breed were on sale for between &pound;2,000 and &pound;3,000 &ndash; now just a handful can be found at that price.</p>
<p>The Daily Star came across one listing for &pound;75 in Brentwood, Essex, with the dog&rsquo;s weight described as &ldquo;close to 70 kilos&rdquo;.</p>
