Neil Jones, 59, retired from tiling after scooping the mega payout in 2010 and honed his cueing skills through the Covid lockdowns.
And now he's won a bronze medal after captaining England's B1 team at the European Blackball Championships in Malta.
They were pipped 13-11 by Wales in the semis.
Neil, of Stoke-on-Trent, said: "It was the most amazing journey and I can't believe that we won a medal. I am so proud."
