KEVIN DE BRUYNE is on a mission to banish his personal from Manchester demons City's Champions League final defeat to Chelsea two years ago.

De Bruyne was left battered and bruised following the 1-0 loss in Porto after a sickening collision with Antonio Rudiger.

The Belgium superstar left the field in tears in the second half after suffering a broken nose, eye socket and concussion which saw him rushed to hospital.

De Bruyne has more reasons than most to want to avenge the defeat when City face Inter Milan in Saturday's Champions League final at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul.

Pep Guardiola's men take on the Italians knowing a win would see them conquer Europe for the first time in history - as well as land the Treble alongside the Premier League and FA Cup.
