A "VAMPIRE" graveyard of 450 desecrated skeletons has been discovered by builders.

The plot, dug up for roadworks, was filled with decapitated bodies in odd positions.

Many had coins in their mouths and their skulls between their legs - two "cures" for blood-sucking vampirism that were used by Europeans in the 19th century.
