RUBEN AMORIM'S connection with his players can transform Manchester United and make them great again - according to skipper Bruno Fernandes.
New boss Amorim, who officially started in his new role this week, has yet to take his first training session but United's players are already relishing the chance to play for him.
Skipper Fernandes said the relationship Amorim built with his players at Sporting Lisbon - where he won two league titles in four years was one of the keys to his success there.
That faith and trust in his players, allied to his tactical acumen and conviction in his methods, gives him the best possible chance of hauling United out of their current crisis, according to the Portuguese playmaker.
