Trading standards officers found more than 1,000 illegal vapes with a tank size of 16ml at a store in Notting Hill Gate, west London.
Councillor Josh Rendall said "unscrupulous businesses" were selling oversized fake vapes, which are not allowed if tanks carry over 2ml, across London.
He added: "It is becoming a growing trend amongst young people, who are unaware that they are buying fakes and the risks it carries with it."
