The tiny corpses were discovered by farmers in Peru in 2017. In January forensic teams insisted the remains were a hoax and made using paper, glue, metal and animal bones. But new tests on the fingerprints of one of the specimens – called Maria – have revealed “no human patterns.” Former Colorado prosecutor Joshua McDowell said: “These were not traditional human fingerprint patterns. We did not see any loops or whorls. Maria’s fingerprints weren’t consistent with human prints.” His claims follow those of boffins from Peru’s Saint Aloysius Gonzaga National University in Ica, who reckon they are “humanoids”. Forensic archaeologist Flavio Estrada said: “The conclusion is simple: they are dolls assembled with bones of animals. They are not aliens.”
