DONNACHA O’BRIEN is on weather watch after declaring Porta Fortuna for tomorrow’s Group One Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes – in spite of a “not ideal” racing surface on Newmarket’s July Course.

O’Brien warned the daughter of Caravaggio, who thrived on ‘good to firm’ going to capture the top-level Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot last month, would miss the fillies’ test in the event of testing conditions.
