ENGLAND have revealed their clear plan to hit Ireland and then Australia as hard as they can this summer by recalling Jonny Bairstow to the Test fold.
Bairstow was a major catalyst to the incredible Bazball revolution under Ben Stokes before breaking his leg and has been named in the first squad of the summer ahead of reliable keeper Ben Foakes.
And while Surrey star Foakes is widely regarded as the finest gloveman in the game, the decision has been made because he cannot dominate the bowling in the same way as his Yorkshire rival.
With Harry Brook announcing himself to the world with four thrilling Test hundreds in his first six matches, eclipsing even Don Bradman in the process, it was clear three into two would not go.
