ANDY MURRAY is inspired to keep playing by Novak Djokovic – and getting a good night’s sleep away from his four kids, John McEnroe has claimed.

The knighted Scot, 36, will play his 15th Wimbledon next week after climbing back into the world’s top 40 for the first time since his two hip surgeries.

Murray has spoken this week about going out on “his terms” and wanting to play for “a couple more years”, despite calls on social media for him to quit.

But BBC analyst McEnroe said: “Instead of focusing on the negative, they should probably focus on the positive because this guy loves the game as much as he does.

“He’s put so much time and effort, and his heart and soul into trying to come back to be a top player and it’s been slower than he wanted.
