A BRIT Army’s top IRA spy cost more lives than he saved during the Troubles, a probe has found.

Operation Kenova examined agent Stakeknife who was widely believed to be Freddie Scappaticci, who died last year aged 77.

The probe looked into 101 murders and abductions linked to the IRA unit responsible for interrogating and torturing people suspected of passing information to the security forces.
