AN ancient human was a baldy man rather than having long locks, boffins have revealed.

Otzi the Iceman - whose mummified body was found in the Alps and lived 5,300 years ago - was originally believed to have white skin and long hair.

But scientists analysing his DNA now reckon it's more likely he was dark-skinned and bald as a coot.
