HUKUM will be aimed at the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes after being withdrawn from the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot last Friday.

Trainer Owen Burrows took the decision to pull the five-year-old out of the Hardwicke line-up, after the ground firmed up throughout the week.

Hukum had previously beaten last season's Derby winner Desert Crown on his scintillating return to action following a year on the sidelines in Sandown's Brigadier Gerard Stakes, having sustained a career-threatening hind-leg fracture during his victory in last year's Coronation Cup at Epsom.
