HE is doing his own washing for the first time, has worked behind a bar and is still seeking a new club but Lee Kershaw isn't moaning.

Most Super League players unemployed just four weeks before the new season would be a nervous wreck.

But the 24-year-old flying winger, who left relegated Wakefield Trinity at the end of last term, has taken the major setback in his stride.

Kershaw (inset) trained with Leeds Rhinos to stay fit and has just started a month-long trial with promoted London Broncos.

He hopes to prove to boss Mike Eccles he is worth a shot in 2024.
