TOTTENHAM hope winning the race for James Maddison will help convince Harry Kane to stay.
Spurs sealed a £40m deal to bring England star Maddison in from Leicester earlier this week.
And the hope is that his arrival shows the kind of ambition Kane (inset bottom) wants to see amid serious interest from Bayern Munich.
New boss Ange Postecoglou (inset top) officially starts work tomorrow and will sit down for face-to-face talks with Kane.
