DEATH and taxes have been the two constants in life.

Five times in the last six seasons City have now taken their place on the throne of English football.

You have to go back to the Millennium to find the last time this happened, when Manchester United achieved the feat under Sir Alex Ferguson.

And the only other occasion a team has managed the same dominance was Liverpool in the 1980s.

The uniqueness of the achievement is what makes those sides mentioned above the most special of all.

Throw into the mix the fact Pep Guardiola's team is also on the cusp of the Treble and it marks it down as the greatest one of its generation - and perhaps all time.
