HARRY KANE may be 30 but he believes his best is yet to come for club and country.

And for England, there could hardly be any better news on the day Euro 2028 officially appeared on the horizon.

“We had an amazing experience at Euro 2020 in terms of having six of the games at Wembley, so it felt like a home tournament for us,” said the Three Lions captain.

“Being here and seeing the atmosphere outside the grounds on the way in on the coach gave us a real special feeling.

“We came within a couple of kicks of winning the trophy, so that definitely

gave us more energy and more belief.” Kane will turn 35 just weeks after

the tournament ends after the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland’s bid to stage the event was confirmed yesterday by UEFA.

And while he has not experienced it himself, he has seen close up that moment an England team lift the Euros trophy at Wembley after Lionesses glory last year.
